Linux VPS (SSH)
-
After order activation you will receive an email with:
– VPS hostname/IP
– SSH port (usually 22 unless otherwise stated)
– Root username and password. -
On Windows: use PuTTY or Windows Terminal.
-
On macOS / Linux: use the built-in Terminal:
ssh root@YOUR.SERVER.IP -
Accept the host key, then enter your password.
-
For security, we strongly recommend:
– Changing the root password on first login
– Creating a non-root user
– Enabling SSH key authentication where possible.
Windows VPS (RDP)
-
Your welcome email contains the server IP, username (usually Administrator) and password.
-
On Windows, open Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc), enter the IP and click Connect.
-
On macOS, download the “Microsoft Remote Desktop” app from the App Store.
-
Enter your credentials and log in.
If you cannot connect, please check:
• Your local firewall or ISP isn’t blocking the port
• You are using the correct IP, port and credentials
and then open a support ticket with the exact error message.
